Last weekend Dave and I ducked out of work at 12:30 on Friday and drove the 5 hour drive to Las Vegas to run our first Spartan Race of our 2015 season: The Las Vegas Super. This was our first race of 10 total we have planned to race this year, and what better place to start than just outside of Sin City?
We got in around 6:00 pm to our hotel, got all our stuff situated in the hotel and went into the city for a healthy dinner at Lyfe Kitchen. Quick, healthy, hits the spot and isn’t too expensive or out of the ordinary before a race. Done deal. Dave got a burger with a side salad, an order of chicken, fries and a dessert… he was hungry! I just got the not-fried chicken with butternut squash and it was perfect!!
